Free Tow & Roadside Swipe Pack · Motor-Club Dispatch · Cash-Pay · Impound

Six owner-approved scripts for tow operators that lose money — and Google stars — between the accident scene and the impound release window.

The 2AM call is a rollover on the shoulder of I-4 and the customer doesn't know if AAA covers a flatbed or a wheel-lift. The 6AM ping from Agero pays $65 for a service that will take you 90 minutes round-trip. The stranded-driver text quoted $89 on Google and just found out the drop is 22 miles past your free-mile radius. And the impound release window closes at 5PM and the owner still hasn't paid the storage. These scripts triage the incident in six facts, confirm what the motor club is actually paying before the truck rolls, quote cash-pay honestly against the mileage math, keep ETA slips from becoming cancellations, and clear the impound without a driveway argument.

The tow & roadside pack

Triage the incident. Confirm what the motor club is actually paying. Quote cash-pay against real miles.

01

Incident triage (voice or text)

For any inbound tow or roadside call at any hour. Gets the six facts you need before you dispatch a truck or accept a motor-club job.

This is [Company Name] — I hear you. Before I dispatch, I need six things so I can send a real number, the right truck, and an honest ETA: 1) Vehicle year/make/model, and is it drivable, all four wheels rolling, AWD/4WD, EV, or lowered/modified? 2) What happened — accident, mechanical, out of fuel, lockout, flat tire, jump, or stuck (mud/snow/off-road)? 3) Where is it — full address or interstate + mile marker + direction of travel + lane (shoulder / median / travel lane)? 4) Where does it need to go — home, shop (which one), dealership, body shop, or storage yard? Full address if you know it. 5) Are you safe right now — anyone injured, on a live traffic lane, or in a hazardous location? If yes, are police / fire / EMS already on scene? 6) Cash pay, or motor club / insurance dispatch? If dispatch — which one (AAA, Allstate Motor Club, Agero, Honk, Roadside Masters, Swoop, Urgent.ly), and do you have the reference number? Text with the info if it's easier. I'll come back with a truck, an ETA, and a locked number in under 3 minutes.

Motor-club dispatch confirmation

For jobs coming in through a motor club or insurance dispatch app. Locks what's covered vs. out-of-pocket before the truck rolls so nothing gets billed twice.

Hey [First Name] — I've got your dispatch from [motor club / dispatcher]. Here's what's covered and what's on you so there are no surprises at drop: - Covered under your dispatch: standard [tow / winch-out / jump / tire change / lockout] up to [X] miles from the disablement location to a [home / shop / dealership] address inside your policy limits. - Not covered (out-of-pocket if you approve on-site): additional miles past [X], accident recovery / rollover / off-road, second hookup, wait time past [Y] minutes, dolly / skates / go-jacks for modified or damaged vehicles, storage if I can't get you into the shop today. - Reference: [ref #]. Approved rate to me from [motor club]: [$Z]. If any of the above kicks in, I will call you and tell you the exact number before I do the work. I won't add a charge to your dispatch without your YES. ETA: [X minutes]. Truck: [flatbed / wheel-lift / heavy-duty], [truck #], [driver name]. Reply YES if that matches what your dispatcher told you, or tell me what they said so I can call [motor club] and straighten it out before I roll.
03

Cash-pay flat quote (against real miles)

For cash-pay calls not going through a motor club. Honest hook + mileage math, service call broken out, no "we'll see when we get there" pricing.

Here's the number for your [job type] from [pickup] to [drop]: - Hook / service call: $[X] flat — covers arrival, hookup, and the first [N] loaded miles. - Loaded miles past [N]: $[$/mi] × [distance − N] = $[Y]. GPS says [distance] miles door-to-door. - Truck type: [flatbed / wheel-lift / heavy-duty / dolly] because [reason — AWD, damaged, EV, low clearance, damage location]. - After-hours / weekend / holiday multiplier: [none / +$Z]. - Estimated all-in cash: $[low] – $[high]. Card on arrival, Zelle, or cash. I don't take payment until the vehicle is on your driveway or in the shop. If the number's off for your situation, tell me. I'd rather lose the job here than argue about it after the drop.
ETA, impound, and reviews
04

ETA update (running late)

Sent proactively any time the truck is more than 10 minutes past the quoted ETA. Prevents the cancellation call and the second-motor-club dispatch.

[First Name] — quick update. [Driver name] in truck [#] is [X minutes] behind the ETA I quoted because [honest reason: cleared prior scene / traffic on [route] / weather / DOT hours reset]. New ETA is [time]. If that doesn't work — you're on a live lane, you're cold, kids in the car, you already called another company — tell me now and I'll cancel the run and refund/release you cleanly. If you still want me, reply STAY and I'll keep [driver name] rolling and update you every 15 minutes until arrival.
05

Impound / storage release

For a private-property, police-directed, or non-consensual tow sitting in your yard. Sent to the registered owner or lienholder as soon as you have contact info. Keeps the release lawful, priced, and window-scheduled.

Hey [First Name] — [Company Name]. Your [year make model, plate] was [towed from / delivered to] [address] on [date] at [time] by [police case # / property manager / accident report #]. Here's exactly what it takes to release the vehicle so you can plan the trip in one stop: - Storage: $[X]/day, day 1 starts [date] — current balance today is $[Y], next day increment starts at [cutoff time]. - Release fee / admin: $[Z]. - Documents you need on-site: photo ID matching the registration or a notarized lienholder release, current registration or title, and proof of insurance if state law requires. If the vehicle is titled in a different name, bring notarized authorization from the titled owner. - Payment: cash, card, or state-approved method — I'll email you the release cost sheet before you leave the house so you know the total to the dollar. - Release window: [days], [open]–[close]. Last release [X] minutes before close so we can walk the vehicle and take exit photos. If any of that doesn't match your situation (insurance total loss, lienholder repossession, out-of-state ID, name change), reply here and I'll route it correctly the first time so you're not driving out for nothing.
06

Post-service review request

Sent 4–6 hours after the drop, from the operator, human-approved. Tow operators live and die on Google reviews next to every "predatory tow" horror story on the local subreddit — this pack exists partly to make that review honest.

Hey [First Name] — hope [the car's home / it's at the shop / you got where you needed to go]. If the tow went well, would you leave a quick Google review? Direct link: [review URL]. Every honest review offsets the ones written by drivers who never called us — and it's the reason my truck gets picked next time someone in [city] is on the side of I-[route] at 2AM. If anything about the hookup, the drive, or the price felt off, text me first before you leave a bad review. I'd rather make it right than argue about it publicly.
Automation map

Turn 24/7 accident calls, motor-club dispatch pings, police-directed tows, and GBP messages into one triaged queue you can run from the truck.

Capture

Every inbound call, text, voicemail, Google Business Profile message, web-form request, motor-club dispatch app ping (AAA, Allstate Motor Club, Agero, Honk, Roadside Masters, Swoop, Urgent.ly, Nation Safe Drivers), police-directed rotation call, and body-shop / insurance-carrier direct-bill request creates one job card — synced from your dispatch stack (Beacon Software Dispatch Anywhere, TOPS, TowBook, TRAXERO, Ranger SST) and your VoIP / answering service.

Triage

Tag accident vs. mechanical vs. lockout vs. impound, drivable vs. non-drivable, AWD/4WD/EV/lowered (truck-type driver), scene safety (live lane, injuries, fire, fuel leak), cash-pay vs. motor-club vs. police-directed, distance from nearest available truck, DOT hours-of-service remaining on the driver, and after-hours multiplier. Anything scene-safety-critical gets an ETA push to the front of the queue before the quote goes out.

Draft

AI drafts from approved rate cards only: your posted cash-pay flat + $/loaded-mile schedule, and the exact motor-club approved rates and coverage caps. No phone-quoted "$89 flat" bait pricing when the drop is 40 miles away. No auto-approving anything beyond covered service on a motor-club dispatch. No promising a specific ETA the truck can't hit under real traffic + DOT rules. Nothing auto-sends past truck-type + service-call amount + ETA window without your approval on your phone.

Assign

You (or the on-call dispatcher) open one queue between runs: triaged incidents waiting on a quote, dispatched jobs with running ETAs, motor-club coverage confirmations, cash-pay approvals, impound release requests, and post-service review sends. All you do is tap send.

Measure

Track call-to-dispatch response time, quote-to-hook rate, quoted-price vs. drop-invoice variance (this number kills or saves your Google reviews), ETA hit rate, motor-club invoice-to-paid days (Agero / Honk / AAA reconciliation), impound turn-time, storage day-count accuracy, second-tow cancellation rate on ETA slips, and Google review count and average over the last 30 days.

Not a legal, insurance, or safety product. Not a substitute for state tow licensing, DOT hours-of-service rules, or your local police rotation contract. Every reply in this pack assumes owner or dispatcher-of-record approval before send. Results depend on your service area, truck coverage, motor-club mix, actual rate card, response time, DOT hours-of-service compliance, storage-yard local ordinance, and how honestly you quote on the phone vs. charge at the drop. Do not misrepresent covered work under a motor club, do not exceed the approved rate on a dispatch without documented customer authorization, and follow all applicable state tow and lien-release rules.
